About me
Amanda La France (she/her) is a Lifelong Student learning the ways to be a loving human BE-ing and create accessible, inclusive sacred spaces that nurture the cultivation of self care tools that tend our nervous systems, fuel the fire of self-discovery and healing, and invite the sharing of experiences that explore the beauty and meaning-making of life’s threshold moments.
In the outer world, she hugs trees, forages sustainably, practices/teaches Morning Altars, hosts retreats and rituals in the Wheel of the Year tradition. In inner landscapes, she shares Trauma Informed Resilience Focused Vinyasa, SomaYoga, Aerial Yoga and Ayurvedic practices from 500+hrs of CYT and a 25yr yoga practice that continues to deepen and humble. Additionally, Amanda weaves together a Holistic Advanced Esthetics Practice that specializes in the support of traumatized Nervous Systems (Oncology/Endocrinology/Chronic Stress) through a blend of modalities that include Somatics, TCM, Ayurveda and 13+ years of CE to understand the link of outward skin conditions and their nervous system roots.
When not finding Amanda in the woods or a studio (presently @shantiyogacentermn), you’ll find her wheeling her WWII veteran gramps to a spot in the sunshine at the STC VA, talking to flowers/plants/trees/pets or crafting a playlist to accompany this incredible Human BE-ing experience because “Music can express the heart in ways words can’t.”
